Your role:

• The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated and adaptable team player. As a lead developer, you will spearhead the development of our projects, showcasing expertise in handling large-scale applications, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Our client’s strength lies in constructing robust pipelines, primarily focusing on backend-oriented projects. Proficiency in event-driven architectures, metrics, cloud computing (AWS), and some familiarity with big data tools is necessary. While our primary programming language is Python, it’s not obligatory (though advantageous). The critical aspects of our work involve prioritizing performance, fault tolerance, and reliability, presenting our software engineers with diverse challenges from various domains.
• Key responsibilities:
• Create clear, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code.
• Develop and maintain software, covering applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects align with business objectives and compliance standards.
• Support the testing and deployment of new products and features.
• Actively participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering background
• Exposure to various technologies. Ideal are: Python, Java, Scala, AWS, DataBricks
• Very good communication skills
• Fluent English
