SAP PP S/4 HANA Analyst – Remote

The Support Analyst will be a part of the Service Delivery Organization, responsible for maintaining all systems in operation with the highest availability. As a member of the Service Delivery Organization, an SAP analyst will analyze tickets raised by users and provide responses or resolutions, collaborating with the relevant teams or third-party providers to address issues in accordance with the Operational/Service Level Agreements with the business. The individual will also be responsible for working with architects, developers, and testers to build and deliver small enhancements following approval from the Solution Delivery organization in line with the global template design.

Your role:

  • Offer comprehensive functional and technical expertise within the specified process domain, along with demonstrated knowledge of crucial integration points spanning various modules and technical components.
  • Take complete ownership of support tickets within the relevant process domain, collaborating with integration, other process teams, development teams, and third-party support providers to address tickets within the limits of Operational/Service Level Agreements.
  • Comprehend global templates and regional solutions devised by Solution Delivery teams and ensure the resolution of tickets while maintaining the integrity of the solution.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including regression testing, before releasing any solution for final user validation.

Requirements:

  • Require a minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more SAP modules, with a strong preference for expertise in S/4HANA. Profound knowledge of S4 HANA embedded PPDS (PPDS on S4HANA) or SAP APO PPDS, Flexible planning, MRP Live, demand management, capacity requirement planning, CIF error handling, inter-company stock transfer planning, subcontracting, etc., is essential.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of setting up various planning processes (Make to Stock, ETO, CTO) and integrating them with other planning solutions like IBP, APO, and third-party planning solutions.
  • Possess expertise in SAP S/4 HANA PP-PI solutions, encompassing processes such as working with process messages, master recipes with process instructions, PI sheets, production execution using MES interface, production scheduling, capacity planning, backflushing, subcontracting, shop floor operations, and batch management. Experience in the process manufacturing industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in production planning processes, PPPI master data, and relevant configuration, including MRP, demand management, capacity planning, ATP, MTO, MTS, etc.
  • Have experience with integration knowledge involving SAP QM, SAP EWM, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) using PI/PO as middleware. Familiarity with ALE/EDI IDocs, file-based interfaces, MES integration, recovery of failed batch jobs, Inbound and Outbound RFC, and Queues.
  • Take full ownership of support tickets within the respective process area, collaborating with integration, other process teams, development teams, and third-party support providers to resolve issues within Operational/Service Level Agreement limits.
  • Demonstrate high analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP PP to provide best practice solutions for incidents and assess their downstream impact on the integrated solution. Ensure the continuity of 'business as usual’ items concerning proposed RICEFW and its relevance to Master Data requirements.
  • Be prepared to work occasional weekends, holidays, overtime, or varying shifts as needed to meet support Operational/Service Level Agreements. Possess the ability and willingness to travel by auto and air as needed to achieve business objectives. Hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related academic discipline.
