Salesforce Engineering Manager – Warszawa

For our client Asana, we are looking for a Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead a team of Salesforce engineers in Warsaw and work closely on the further development of the Salesforce domain. 

This role is based in our Warsaw, Poland office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you’re interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.

Your role:

  • Team Building and Leadership: Spearhead the creation of the Salesforce team from the ground up, ensuring a comprehensive approach that encompasses all functional areas. Coach and mentor team members to foster individual impact, balance growth, and cultivate leadership skills.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with business domain experts, data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to establish a multi-year vision and roadmap. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance our data architecture, advocating for necessary investments.
  • Operational Excellence: Craft clear, sustainable team responsibilities, goals, and processes. Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional processes, recommending data-driven strategies for optimizing performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the Warsaw office and global headquarters, ensuring alignment of Salesforce strategies with corporate objectives. Partner with various teams to integrate and leverage data for strategic advantages.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in engineering management, with a strong preference for backgrounds in salesforce development. 
Demonstrated success in building, leading, and managing teams from inception to achieving operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with senior management to deliver integrated data solutions.
  • Comfortable in a role that requires a blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity
  • This position is based in Warsaw, Poland. The role requires flexibility to collaborate with teams across different time zones and occasional travel to headquarters for strategic meetings and alignment sessions.
